Building our Economy. Investing in the future.

The Houbolt Road Extension represents the shared commitment to the community on behalf of local and state agencies, local businesses, organizations and industry leaders.

Guided by community and stakeholder feedback, the Houbolt Road Extension is well on its way to becoming a thoughtfully balanced and environmentally sensitive solution to meeting the increased demand for transportation infrastructure and to addressing truck traffic and congestion on local roads.

Over the years, Will County has continued to evolve to strengthen its position as a leading region for transportation logistics. The Houbolt Road Extension is the latest development in facilitating this economic growth to benefit the community.
